Teaching Trainer (UT)
Pedagogical support colleagues, better known as instructional trainers, are teachers who receive regular training in a program in Lima (Perú) and San José (Costa Rica) to in turn provide pedagogical support to their colleagues.

The UT concept makes teacher trainings possible and enables teachers to address sensitive issues related to their work in a confidential manner and thus actively work on the development of the school.
A fundamental component of UT is to accompany teachers during school hours to observe on the spot the difficulties they face and help them to overcome them successfully.
The use of this support is not mandatory, but upon request it must be requested. The UTs are an instance of help and counseling independent of the school management, whose task is to facilitate teachers and implement pedagogical changes in their classes or solve problematic situations.
